Thomas Gifford contract released by UFC after knockout loss in tampa
Gifford is no longer under contract with the UFC, the lightweight fighter announced on his Instagram. The Young Lion entered the Octagon on 12th October looking for his 1st win against short notice replacement Mike Davis, but was dominated before losing via 3rd round knockout. Thomas who was on a 7 fight unbeaten streak before joining the UFC in 2019 now went 0-2 under the UFC banner after dropping a decision to Roosevelt Roberts in his debut.
