Oman Cricket team has beat the Hong Kong Cricket team by 12 runs and booked their place in the ICC World T20 2020.

In the start of the World T20 2020 Qualifier, Oman lose to Namibia and also in the match against Hong Kong they were struggled in batting as they only manage to score 135/7. But with their good bowling performance, they managed to beat Hong Kong by 12 runs and booked ticket to Australia for the World T20 2020.

Match Summary


Oman won the toss and opt to bat first. Oman were 22-3 in 4.4 overs and the batting struggles continues as they were 42-6 in 8.6 overs. Then Jatender Singh helps Oman to post the total of 134-7 as e scored 67 runs off just 50 balls.

Now talking about the Hong Kong batting, they were 18-5 in just 3.4 overs but their wicket keeper Scott McKechnie managed to score 44 off 46 balls to keep Hong Kong live but in the end they can't be able to chase the total of 135 runs and lose to Oman by 12 runs.

Bilal khan of Oman picks 4 Wickets and only gave 23 runs with bowl which helps Oman to get over the line with bowl.
